Opening: Muji Flagship - Dwell Blog - dwell.com → dwell.com

“How much time do you spend at home? Enough to know that beyond the size, or location, the design of a domestic setting affects your mood and sense of wellbeing. So while harnessing emerging technologies, addressing the changing demographic, grappling with new economic imperatives, addressing sustainability and being a good neighbor its worth keeping in mind how it feels to come home.” —

Koning Eizenberg Architecture

“A Woonerf in the Netherlands and Flanders is a street or group of streets in a town or city where pedestrians and cyclists have legal priority over motorists. Under the Dutch traffic code, motorised traffic entering a woonerf or “recreation area” is restricted to a speed limit of “walking pace”.” —

Woonerf (via lamidesign)

Jackson, The Impact of the Built Environment on Human Health: An Emerging Field | Via Slow Home.
